Kia ngongo i te tahā matauranga o te iwi,

kia eke tahi i raro i Te Maru o Ngongotahā ki Rotorua.

To drink from the calabash of the local knowledge and support,

to rise as one of where we began, under the shelter of the mountain Ngongotahā.
