In order to meet our achievement challenges we are working on a number of projects and initiatives. Questions, items of interest and learning needs have arisen along the way. We have responded to these through new pathways of inquiry and developing shared understandings. You can find resources, readings and information for each of our achievement challenges and areas of inquiry in the attached links.

Maori Literacy?
We hear a lot about literacy and likely we think this relates to reading, writing and maths (in english). So when we hear Maori Literacy, perhaps we are thinking about raising achievement in reading, writing and maths for Maori, in English?
To be successful and literate as Maori our students need to be literate in their culture, identity and language. This might also be called Cultural Competency.
