Kia ora koutou,

My name is Tony Pope and I am currently the Kahui Ako Lead for Terms Three and Four, 2022.

​

While I am no longer a principal, I have a long association with schools in this Kahui Ako, dating back to 1988.  I was principal of Selwyn Primary School for twenty years, retiring from that position in 2011. I have also just finished five years as the Presiding Member of Rotorua Specialist School's Board.

​

Since 2011, I have spent two years at Art School, worked for the Ministry of Education, supported principals in the Appraisal process and Professional Growth Cycles and helped a number of boards with principal appointments. 

 

It is a pleasure to be part of this Kahui Ako!
